A – Search using the following (cut and paste)
-label:inbox -label:sent mail
(cut and paste the above text line into your Gmail search.)
So how did i get here? To the point of needing this?
I view email on my phone, where sometimes it “archives” instead of deleting messages. This then does not delete them from my gmail account, and therefore I had to find a way to delete them to create more room for new mail to arrive. I used above to search for emails, and then deleted all that matched that search criteria. Enjoy – Miles
