I recorded 2 different themes for a show that was to start on KCUR called Central Standard. The 1st was the vocal version you’ll head below. Before it aired, we removed the vocals and added a bassline by my friend Justin Krecker.
After that was used on air, it received much praise from music fans and some criticism from a certain demographic of listeners who felt it was too sad. I didn’t feel it was. Instead it was an emotionally neutral theme that was perfect for a topical show. Nevertheless, the station requested that it be changed, so I sent them the “v2″ you’ll hear below which is the current theme. Enjoy the variations below.
