I posted this track on INnatesounds a few hours ago and already our peoples at BamaLovesSoul posted the rave review below… many thanks! Reg is the man!
They say imitation is the best form of flattery. I don’t exactly know where that saying started but whoever coined it should add the addendum if done right. Sometimes imitation can go horribly wrong which as of a few days ago the interwebs witnessed just that according to some people and don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about. But I digress. When an artist can take an already established piece of work and expand on it or make it their own, it can be a good thing. Reggie B followed this formula and the end result was damn good. Flippin’ the classic Jimi Hendrix track ‘You Got Me Floatin’ and infusing it with his own funk and soulful delivery Reggie B shines on his contemporary and pays homage and respect to the original. As I listen to it while writing this I’m trying to contain the urge to jump up and dance in my seat. It’s just that bad ass! You need this in your life! - BamaLovesSoul
A great way to listen to samples from lots of songs that are out now…
check it out, it is really easy and has TONS of snippets from releases of mine.
Its nice, and an alternative to the MBcom music player still located on the speaker in upper right corner. That plays full songs. But if you want to listen to lots, check the amazon player. dig it.
Yo I am tired of the inflation of pizza prices. I grew up in NJ buying a “large cheese pie” for $6.99 on special.. it isnt more than $8.99 at the same place today in 2009. But in Kansas City its hard to get a fresh pizza for less than $12!? Man… it’s hard to get a good FROZEN pizza for less than $7!! So, like i try to do, I took my discontent with what is around me into my own hands.. behold. BonnyPizza 001.
I wont discuss method. But it has minimal ingredients, didnt take forever to rise, and came out surprisingly well (this was planned to be the sacrificed test dough!). I’ll make 2 more pies tomorrow. More to come.. (dislike something in the hands of others? DO IT YOURSELF!!!)
