Food History
I used to love food. I still do, but now I love it differently.
One of my old roomates in college had a sign in the kitchen that his mother gave him. It read “Eat to live, Dont live to Eat”. I used to eat food because it tasted good. Now I strive to find a balance between taste and nutrition. Because no matter how many times I may eat a fast food burger, it never makes me feel full and it’s probably a waste of a dollar. The learning process continues as we all navigate the INTENSE push of “food products” on our minds and wallets.. when we should, and can eat more simply and with our future in mind. Keep your mind straight and realize that those selling you “food” rarely care about your health, they just want your money. So, the caring is up to you. There is no one way to eat. But YOU must find the balance that works for you. Don’t fool yourself. Be honest with yourself. Contact me with thoughts.
