Seriously?

What is the threat? I can’t think of any valid reason to be homophobic. I realize there have been decades / centuries where homosexuals felt unable to be open with their sexual preferences but I certainly feel that hurdle is in our past. Yes I am aware that there is still discrimination and hate for homosexuals. I simply feel it is dying a death at an increasingly rapid pace. Great.

Gay Marriage. I’m all for people getting legal status that allows them the same rights as “married” couples. Whether it is called Marriage or not doesn’t matter to me. A LARGE population of “married” couples get divorced anyway so how sacred is that?

More related things I think are absurd :::

• saying “No Homo” - pointless. If you are of afraid of people thinking you’re gay, that is deeper than simply reminding them.
• Being scared others think you are gay, in general. Unless you are hoping to be included in an anti-gay club, who cares if you are or not? And if you are so focused on being not-gay, you probably are gay. Great! Who cares!
